The System Memory (RAM)
The system memory is packaged in bubble wrap and a plastic case, let’s take a closer look.
There aren’t too many physical features of the RAM aside from the gold pins (which plug into the memory slot on the motherboard) and the modules (which do the work). The important thing to know about RAM is that it’s very sensitive to ESD. If you want to handle it, touch the grounded power supply and only handle it by the edges of the green wafer, and never touch the gold connection pins at the bottom.
